On Thursday, 27th March 2025, members of St George Abadan Lodge had the privilege of visiting the iconic Grand Lodge at Great Queen Street, London. The occasion was particularly special as we came together to support our very own W.Bro Roy Coenye.
Roy was previously awarded the prestigious rank of Past Provincial Junior Grand Warden in East Kent in April 2023, a well-earned recognition of his dedication and service. Yesterday, at the Annual General Meeting of the Province of Essex, Roy received yet another distinguished honour – his first Essex appointment as Past Provincial Assistant Grand Registrar. This remarkable achievement is a testament to his commitment and contributions to Freemasonry.
Among those present to share in this proud moment was our ruling Master, W.Bro Tony Jacobs. The day was marked by a sense of camaraderie, pride, and celebration as we congratulated Roy on his well-deserved recognition.
It was truly a great meeting, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Roy on his first Essex honour. May this be just one of many milestones in his continued journey in Freemasonry.
