On Saturday, 1st February 2025, we were delighted to host a truly unforgettable Blue Table Event, packed to the rafters with Masons from near and far. Thee atmosphere was one of camaraderie and eager anticipation as we gathered for an evening that promised insight, history, and inspiration.
Our guest speaker for the evening, Mark Smith, an expert in military history, took us on a captivating journey through the history of the Victoria Cross. Mark’s vast knowledge and passion for his subject were evident as he shared the remarkable stories behind this prestigious award for gallantry. From acts of extraordinary bravery to the deeply personal tales of those who received the Victoria Cross, the talk was a powerful reminder of the courage and sacrifice that define this iconic symbol.
The event was an absolute hit, with an enthusiastic crowd eager to hear Mark’s expert insights. It was an evening filled with reflection, learning, and genuine appreciation for the significance of the Victoria Cross, and we were honoured to have such an esteemed speaker with us.
As always, our Blue Table Events provide an opportunity for Masons to come together, share experiences, and deepen their connection with one another. This evening was no exception, and the camaraderie and fellowship on display were truly inspiring.
