The Brothers of the Ashlar—a group of five members from St. George Abadan Lodge No. 6058—continue their light-hearted and fraternal journey. The famous five include W.Bros Robyn Murdo-Smith (Master), Roy Coenye (DC), Shawn Roberts (ADC), Alan Campkin (Secretary), and David Hiscock (Treasurer).
Last night, the group added another memorable chapter to their story with a Cuddly Toy Parade before bedtime. The instructions were clear: everyone was to bring a teddy bear or another cuddly toy. However, it turned out to be a cheeky set-up!
While the rest of the Brothers proudly showcased their Fireman Sam soft toys, poor Alan Campkin arrived empty-handed, without even his own cuddly toy. The result? A playful fine of £1! Alan, being a good sport, took it all in his stride as laughter filled the room.
David Hiscock, as always, was behind the camera, capturing the fun and ensuring the memories of this quirky tradition live on.
