Matthew Callaway
Bro. Matthew Callaway is 37 years old, married, and a proud father of four. He lives in Lordswood, a community where his children are growing into kind, confident individuals. Community is central to Matthew’s life, and he is actively involved at Lordswood RFC as both a coach and player. Through rugby, he helps young people develop confidence, respect, and teamwork—values that strongly reflect the teachings of Freemasonry.
Professionally, Matthew works as a Key Account Manager for a company specialising in sustainable parts washing and waste management solutions. He manages high-value accounts across the UK and Ireland, supporting clients with innovative and environmentally responsible methods to reduce hazardous waste. Over more than a decade with the company, he has progressed from hands-on service delivery to leading strategic projects and building long-term client relationships. Matthew takes great pride in delivering excellence and driving positive change in his professional life.
Outside of work and the Lodge, Matthew enjoys spending time with friends, whether over games nights, barbecues, or watching football (blue is definitely the colour!). He also has a deep interest in tropical fishkeeping, which provides a quiet, reflective space and a way to unwind from daily life.
Matthew joined Freemasonry in 2023 and is honoured to walk this path alongside his brother, whom he was proud to introduce to the Craft. Freemasonry has given him new perspectives on friendship, integrity, and the quiet satisfaction of doing good without expectation of recognition.
For Matthew, living by the correct principles of Masonry means striving every day to be a better man: acting with kindness, leading with honesty, and offering help wherever it is needed. He seeks to embody Masonic values not only within the Lodge but also in everyday life—at home, at work, and within the wider community.
Matthew looks forward to continuing his journey with the Brethren, guided always by the enduring principles of Integrity, Friendship, Respect, and Service.
